Another Successful Recovery on the Jersey Shore, long beach island NJ

Samantha called me in a panic after her ring slipped off and disappeared into the sand while she was enjoying a day at the beach. I met her on the sand in Long Beach Island, and she pointed out where she thought it may have fallen. I got to work right away—and within just 10 minutes, her ring was safely in my sand scoop… but she didn’t know it yet.

As I continued scanning, a man approached asking if I could help find his lost phone. I told him I’d keep an eye out and explained I was actually looking for a ring at the moment. I smiled, looked at him, and said, “I bet it looks just like this,” as I reached into my scoop and pulled out Samantha’s ring.

Samantha was completely shocked! Her eyes lit up, and she nearly fell over in disbelief. Moments like these make what I do so rewarding.
