lavallette NJ, wedding ring lost on the beach

I was out doing some kayaking in the bay early one morning when I noticed a message on my NJ Ring Finder page. Nicholas was frantically searching for his wedding ring that somehow slipped out of his pocket on the beach in the wee hours of the morning. He knew exactly where the ring would be, as he only walked down the dune walkover, then straight to the water. Luckily he only went to the middle of the beach, and not closer to the tide line, where many sometimes do recreational metal detecting. Once I arrived to the beach, I went to the spot Nick had described, and saw tons of footprints where he had been searching just 6 hours earlier. It was then I turned on my metal detector, and within a couple minutes, BINGO, Nicks beautiful white gold ring was safely in my sand scoop. I sent him the pics of the ring and he was in total shock I was able to locate his ring that quick. You gotta love when people are detail oriented, and know precisely where they were on the vast white sand beaches of the Jersey Shore. Nick drove down from the city right away, and respectfully declined his picture be used.
